In the fast-paced multiplayer word survival game Words or Die, your language is your main weapon against the rising lava. Connecting the given letters to make words and then building blocks with those words is the main goal. Try to keep the fire level from rising. After getting hit by the fire, you're out of the game.

How to Play Words or Die.

Objectives and gameplay descriptions

At the start of the game, you and the other players are put in a bright field. To get through the game and win, you need to be able to use your knowledge and link words together. As the stages go on, the lava becomes higher and higher. To keep your character safe, stay focused and try to link as many sentences as you can.

Create words from the supplied letters.

Each level provides a collection of random, scrambled letters. Use your left mouse click or touchscreen to form valid words from those letters before time runs out (and the lava rises). Only words with three or more letters count. Accepted words create bricks beneath your feet, protecting you from scorching lava.

Survive and progress through the tougher stages.

As you proceed through the stages, you will receive more letters. This means more opportunities to generate words. However, the lava level rises more quickly, increasing the risk. If you cannot build blocks quickly enough, you will be removed. So, stay attentive and link as many phrases as possible to shield yourself from the rising lava.

Tip: Longer and more difficult words will result in more blocks. Thus, aim for those phrases, as they will help you climb faster and remain ahead of the approaching danger.
