The game begins by selecting a room, each with its own rules and grid layout:
- GREEN Room: 5x5 letter grid, words including four or more letters, three-minute rounds.

There are 30 seconds between rounds, which are currently ongoing. When you are in Non-Unique Mode, the ranking is updated every 30 seconds. When you're in Unique Mode, duplicate terms are immediately identified.
Players create words by connecting neighboring characters in horizontal, vertical, or diagonal orientations. Each letter may be used just once within a word. Various approaches can be used to input words:

Only 82,000 words from the Word Ferret dictionary are permitted. Plurals are permitted, but not proper nouns. Find an "S" to swiftly generate high-scoring words.
