Moviedle

Moviedle is a game inspired by Wordle. Players have to watch every second of a movie and then try to figure out what the name of that movie is.

HOW TO PLAY

Most likely, you won't have more than a second of video to work with. Yes, the whole movie plays on a single screen from beginning to end. The day's movie can be guessed by watching one of about ten short clips that are shown every second. If you know the name of today's movie, you can figure out what it is. You get six tries before you fail, and each one takes a little longer. If you don't say the name of the movie, Moviedle will add extra seconds so you can watch more movies. Hints get longer and longer until the sixth turn, when they are six seconds long. Like Wordle, every day there is only one Moviedle.

If you get into trouble, just keep going until you think you know what to do. This tape can't be stopped or played again, so pay attention while it's playing.

Moviedles from before, can they be played?
Once you've guessed the movie right (or wrong), you can try the quizzes from the day before by clicking the calendar icon in the upper right corner. When you click the button next to the calendar, your statistics, like the number of games you've played and when your winning streak ended, are shown.
