How to Play

Determine the secret country in 7 guesses!

Each estimate must be a country from the search box. This game only includes the top 100 most populous countries.

After each guess, you will be given an indication as to how close your guess is to the correct country.

The following categories are hinted at: continent, population, landlocked, religion, temperature, and government.

As an example:

You guess Australia, but it's on the other continent as the real country, therefore it displays Red Square.

The population is within 10% of the proper country's population, hence Green Square is displayed.

The term "landlocked" relates to whether or not a country is surrounded by land. Australia is not landlocked because it is surrounded by water, making it coastal. Both countries are landlocked - they are both coastal, hence Green Square is displayed.

The proper country's average temperature is at least 10% higher than Australia's, indicating an upward arrow.

Hover over the boxes to see data from your assumption.
